In light of the momentum behind the Affiliate Voice, I also suggest we establish an independent conference around it. It would help the organization to raise its profile while providing extra revenues and other opportunities. The attendance to the conference should be free to member affiliates (after all the purpose of companies who’s paying to fund the conference is to meet productive affiliates).

The conference also would allow smaller regional parts of organization come together annually or bi-annually, to reflect on their experiences and additionally provide a perk to paying affiliate members. Keeping in line with the spirit of the organization’s mission statement, it would not be bunch of shady networks and companies running around in “make $150K in one hour, FREE” t-shirts, blurring the image of affiliate industry.
