I'm a new Affiliate manager for EarlyToRise.com and wanted some advise on the Affiliate Summit. I've been to ad:tech recently and was able to double the returns on our companys investment. What are your views on the Affiliate Summit?

Hi,

For me, Affiliate Summit is one of the must attend events. Depending on how you attend (just like any other events), but as long as you participate and interact, what you gain by attending Affiliate Summit is priceless.

Are you looking to recruit affiliates? Are you looking to learn how to be a better merchant or affiliate manager?

If the answer to either is yes, then you need to attend affiliate summit and probably need a meet market table or other presence there.

The best event of the year by far, I can't wait until ASE. It's a fantastic event, but like Ayako said, you get out of it what you put in.

Absolutely worthwhile. If you were to only make it to one conference per year, this would be the one to go to.

I miss having not been to 3 of the last 5 Summits. I went to ASWest in Vegas in '07 and ASEast in Boston last year and missed this year's West too. I look forward to attending ALL of them starting with East this year as it looks like I will finally be at the right company that understands how valuable the Summit truly is!

It is absolutely worth the trip. I have been to the last four in a row and have come home with ideas/contacts/deals that have more than paid for the investment put forth, in time and money, to attend each one.

Thank you for your responses. I'd like to attend both Ad:Tech San Fran and the Affiliate Summit in NY but can only go to one and wanted to see what conference would have better ROI.

I have not been to ad:tech yet but I can say I have experienced a great return from Affiliate Summit. I would recommend it because I have met some of my best contacts at that conference and learned a lot as well.
