Performics Upgrade Done?

Tell me this "upgrade" is not finished... where it used to say "For MyAccountNameHere" it now says "For NA"... I can't find any reports except those on the front page (where are they? are they missing or am I just missing them?)...

Tell me it's not done...

(SIDEBAR: Haiko, yes I have noticed... no more pages hanging indefinitely never loading.

I've been able to bring up detailed reports on last month's activity, but there definitely are some things that still need work. Lousy display in Macintosh Explorer, links that are dead or don't do what you'd expect, that sort of thing. I'll reserve judgement about calling the changes an "upgrade" until they get the wrinkles ironed out!

There's quite an assortment of new merchants, which will be interesting to check out.

Reports and other stuff are in that black nav bar across the top.

It's one of those "trendy" ones you have to mouse over to get the REAL links to show, then slide your mouse down to the one you want and click.

The above setup works better if you scroll down a bit before trying to use it.

Annoyingly, it's one of those types that moves as you scroll down...but at least they got rid of the INFERNAL FRAMES they used to have!!!

I haven't done much checking around so far, I just went to the Reports section to check stats, and took a look at the Build Your Own Links section.

But I would call it an "improvement" although there is certainly room for even more improvement!

Performics, if you're lurking here:

Ditch that annoying nav bar that comes down when I scroll. Also those drop-down links suck. I don't care if a lot of sites are doing that now or not, they suck and I hope that trend passes quick!

How about making it so the popup of the merchant site (in the Build-Your-Own-Links section) is fully resizeable!!! I'm really disappointed that it wasn't made that way, it's a PITA and I always have to go to the merchant site myself instead of using the popup. And no, I'm not going to resize my screen for that, it'd make all the type look like Contract Sized printing (squint squint)!

Glad you got rid of the frames, though.

I miss how that ball used to follow the cursor in the nav bar...

But I don't miss the old logout screen with its blasted delayed popup!!!

I see. Problem is -- it doesn't work in Opera. No trendy menu at all. Blast it, just when Linkshare gets almost everything working Opera (their mail still doesn't), Performics goes over to the dark side... guess I'll have to boot up Netscape.

Just another case of an OutOfControlDesigner wanting to add more KewLStuFf to his/her resume.

Oh good grief -- have you seen the date thing in reports? Defaults to blanks and you either have to type in the date or use this doofy pop-up...

And still showing as "NA Logged In" (instead of my login/account name)... anyone else getting that?

Stupid, useless "improvements", but they'll never know cause they don't ask and they don't listen to affiliates.
