I'm in the process of doing some research on affiliate marketing professionals, such as yourself , and I need some numbers in relation to affiliates actually shopping online. So...

How often do YOU make online purchases?

Back when my wife and I both worked full-time, I bought stuff online *all the time*. Multiple times a month. Now that she stays at home to take care of our little guy and doesn't work, our disposable income has gone down. Therefore, once a month at the most.

I actually bought a new motherboard off of eBay this morning, though, so I marked "Once a month".

I voted never and it shows as 0%!

Almost every time I need to buy something besides groceries, books, or fairly cheap stuff (under $20) I get it online.

But I hardly ever need to buy anything besides the aforementioned stuff, so it only ends up being only every couple of months.

The problem with buying inexpensive stuff online is that the shipping costs almost always outweigh the benefit of not having to go out for it. Of course, what the weather is like affects my determination on what it's worth to not have to go out!

The only reason why I don't buy online is because I'm in Canada. All most everything is shipped from the U.S. so the shipping charges usually out-way the cost of the product. If shipping was free for Canadian's, I'd be shop shop shopping online!

Very often lately. Have been using the NZ leading auction site TradeMe to locate decent windsurfing equipment.

I do an online purchase to confirm tracking on any new merchant that I consider spending any more than a few hours of my time building links for.

Averaging 2 test purchases per week, with 3 CCC's* discovered. All of whom, by the way, never answered emails regarding the matter, further proving their CCC*-ness

I've got a lot of st#ff that I don't need, but I've saved myself COUNTLESS hours of wasted work on three merchants I'd had high hopes for.

2 "real shopping" purchases per week.

I usually will buy things once every month or to. Mostly what I will buy is fitness supplements such as protein shakes or creatine, or books. Once you find the stores that offer free shipping and are already lower priced than local stores, it starts saving money and time to buy online.

All the time....several purchases in a normal week....between myself, the wife and kids. In some cases, shipping may even make the purchase a little more expensive, but when you figure in the travel and time spent doing it offline, it more than compensates.

Daily to weekly. It would be higher if there were more options. The only thing I stay away from is unknown clothing- meaning a brand I don't know fits a certain way.
In the last week-

for husband- clothes from two places

books

dinner-twice

artwork- in the process of trying to purchase a piece for a birthday- purchase will be on the phone since they don't have an online process[/list]That's a pretty normal week- I order flowers online, send gifts from online, shop sales and even bought my house almost fully through online sources- found the realtor, house and mortgage online.

I shopped online 7 times since the month started,

LOTS of books, music, Software CDs, t shirts and a magazine subscription.

My online shopping drastically increased when I got my first Credit Card Earlier this month. Before that - I used to use Dad's CC, with that the purchases had to be too limited.

You mean you can actually buy stuff online? I thought it was just there to look at so you would have ideas when you go to your local store... LOL!

To be honest, I voted "never"

My GF has a habbit of reading books (Those are like websites on paper, but less interactive)
and she buys them online sometimes, but alway's at same bookshop (Dutch).

Only thing I ever "bought" was some cgi-scripts.

I'm doing it
