We've got a couple of updates;

1) Plain Text Description & Brand Name Now Available in Datafeed.
2) Affiliate Contest Keyword Bonus - Get Your Keywords to us by Saturday 11/27/04.

PLAIN TEXT DESCRIPTION & BRAND NAME NOW AVAILABLE IN DATAFEED

Due to popular demand, we have added two new custom fields;

Custom Field 2 = Brand Name.
Custom Field 4 = Plain Text Description - Full length. (Plain Text Description is truncated at 255 characters in Shareasale datafeed. Contact us directly through Shareasale - First log-in, then contact us using our contact form - and we will send a non-truncated .csv file by email upon request.)

AFFILIATE KEYWORD BONUS

Winners of the Brand Name Keyword Bonuses and the Product Keyword Bonuses will be determined as follows;

Affiliates who feel they qualify for these bonuses will notify UrbanScooters.com by email through their account with Shareasale. The notification email will include the bonus they feel they qualify for and the specific keywords that make them eligible.

The first affiliate to provide proof of qualification for a bonus will be awarded the prize. The first day affiliates will be considered for these bonuses is 11/27/04. All notification emails received on or before that day will be considered equally. In the event of a tie, the affiliate with the greatest number of ranked Brand Name or Product keywords in each category will be the winner.

EXTENDED HOLIDAY RETURN POLICY

We have extended our normal 30 day return policy. All orders received between 11/15/04 and 12/14/04 will have an extended return date of 1/15/04.

Aww man, I should've looked closer before I uploaded the new feed. I forgot that Custom4 was originally the short description.

Yes, that's true.

Custom 4 was originally a short plain text description, now it's a full length plain text description. The Custom 4 field is the custom field that allows for the greatest character limit, so it is the best field to use for the full length description.

Do you happen to have the short descriptions on hand anywhere? I don't have a copy of the old DF anymore, but I ended up with this now.

I can just drop them in the database somewhere myself, if you just have a copy of them I can get from you.
