Hmm, i'd say it's a minimum ROI for these merchants and sponsors to get in return for their participation no? The sweeps was designed to increase program participation, increase exposure, increase sales, increase cross promotional activity and most of all to have fun and allow everyone the chance to make money. It is a marketing campaign, that's what we do. We are paid to market and grow affiliate programs. Many have said the idea is "brilliant" , I may be biased, but i would have to agree with them...

Perhaps Billy is having the same trouble that I'm having, not sure how to intergrate some of these merchants into existing sites. Not everyone is able to sell everything, but I do applaud the effort of the ARC team and their merchants to inspire us to try.

This post is interesting. As far as I can tell Billy was upset

because of the szul email, then went on to slam arc. But isn't Andy (ARC) the affiliate management for szul??

Good luck with your Las Vegas Sweepstakes, I joined as many programs as I could and still think this is brilliant. I lack a place for magazines on my mall but I am trying to think of a way. But to say Andy did something wrong with this sweepstakes, not a chance, I think it should be a competition more than a sweepstakes - but a sweepstakes makes it easier to win, He is the greatest affiliate marketing guru.

I was aware Andy had a "fan club" when I posted my thread.

I posted my thread for the same reason I post all my threads on ABW: I got no response from the AM. In this case, all the am email addresses led to Andy. So Andy, did not respond.

Before I state "unresponsive merchant" on ABW, I go to the merchant's website and contact support. Again, I got no response from the merchant's own customer support staff.

Hec, I even contacted irv at irvsluggage. If there really is an Irv, then even he doesn't respond.

No response from AM. No response from merchant site means I drop them. Which I did. EE, Irv, Szul, et al.

I'm sure Andy's "great" and the merchants he represents are "great", but they didn't work for me and I'm willing to leave it at that.

I know that you were never part of the easyclicktravel affiliate program, so I would like to clarify your statement of contacting "all" Andy's merchants, because I never received such an email. The sweeps was designed to increase program participation, increase exposure, increase sales, increase cross promotional activity and most of all to have fun and allow everyone the chance to make money. But isn't Andy (ARC) the affiliate management for szul?? Good luck with your Las Vegas Sweepstakes, I joined as many programs as I could and still think this is brilliant. I lack a place for magazines on my mall but I am trying to think of a way. But to say Andy did something wrong with this sweepstakes, not a chance, I think it should be a competition more than a sweepstakes - but a sweepstakes makes it easier to win, He is the greatest affiliate marketing guru.

I posted my thread for the same reason I post all my threads on ABW: I got no response from the AM. In this case, all the am email addresses led to Andy. So Andy, did not respond. Before I state "unresponsive merchant" on ABW, I go to the merchant's website and contact support. Again, I got no response from the merchant's own customer support staff. Hec, I even contacted irv at irvsluggage. If there really is an Irv, then even he doesn't respond. No response from AM. No response from merchant site means I drop them. Which I did. EE, Irv, Szul, et al. I'm sure Andy's "great" and the merchants he represents are "great", but they didn't work for me and I'm willing to leave it at that. __________________ http://billykaymusic.com

I know that you were never part of the easyclicktravel affiliate program, so I would like to clarify your statement of contacting "all" Andy's merchants, because I never received such an email.
