FU LEX! FU GERACE! FU MESSER! and FU all CJ

I didn't put all this work on my site for someone to steal my sales. FU ALL!!!!!

I have stated this before somwhere on these forums but I am convinced the reason for all our poor showings in the CJ stats (saleswise at least) is WhenU and the other scumbags are stealing a bl**dy lot of our sales.

You can bet your bottom dollar all the big sales with big commissions are covered, all we will get is the scraps that they will not waste their time on.

I would like to see Yahoos reaction to your e-mail.

I was going to download it myself but I do not know enough about computers to start fiddling with the registry and system files to delete them.

Good work Haiko, keep it up I am sure we will beat them in the end.

The only thing they will understand is to have a jury hit them all with a huge punitive damages and jointly and severally..

They ain't going to change.

So stop complaining and start fighting back.

Send an email to everyone you know about when-u and have them do the same.

And don't pull the ads - go click on them and copy the pages that show SAVE Now coupons
and save them for court.

Contrary to what you all think I'm suing them. I have a meeting with the legal beagle
on Thursady to go over rough drafts of the purposed lawsuit.

And unlike Snoopy, this Beagle does not fight
in a Sopwhich Camel. He uses modern real high powered stealth stuff.

Lex and Steve and the Bozos and Bezos may be winning the game this year, but it's only half time. And they aren't ahead by much.

My EcomCity.com site must light up like a Christmas tree for these scumware agents. I don't use any popups or unders and now there everywhere with like likes of TopText and WhenU and even Gator overlays. Heard that Whenu is hosted at Globix.com and they are laying off as part of the Exodise group. Huge server farm for spammers and hopefully they will go under and leave these wanks without any bandwidth. Serve their silly users right when their browsers choak up by not displaying their popups. Gift wrap a daisy cutter with a huge bow for these guys.

i think if i where a shopper looking for a quick chrismas gift i would probably find it difficult not to click on that $10 off ad

ok, IMPORTANT QUESTION

haiko or anyone with this software installed

what exactly causes the popup

is it the text in links?
i notice alex has a flowers banner, so do you think its that?
is it the alt text in the banner?
the mouseover routine in a qksrv link?

all of those things are fixable, however if its the qksrv AID then its both a very bad thing and affiliates will have a cast iron legal case

haiko, any answers? (no pun intended)

the site belongs to abestweb forum member "alex bet"
his url is in the addressbar in the screenshot

the word "flowers" on his page causes the popup to appear for anyone who has this software installed

the popup would make me think that the owner of the site put that popup there, there is no denying that this is an attempt to hijack commissions whether or not that was the original intension of the software or not, though i am sure whenu.com would/do deny it

It is my site Jada, and if you see there there is a pop-up window showing. WhenU causes the pop-up to appear (i didn't put it there, there are no pop-ups on my site).

Haiko thanks for the summary.
So this insidious program, unlike ezula or topsurf, hijacks words from our sites and not content with lighting our sites up like Christmas trees... regurgitates pop-ups!!!

I feel like screaming "get off my domain"
I choose not to inflict my customers with pop-ups how dare they!
I don't have it installed, but I'm very tempted to, have you tried the uninstall yet?
Or is it another registry edit...the mongrels!

The only way we can combat this contextual advertising and it's spawns is to fight them legally. As soon as you get one on it's back another rises up!

How dare they interfer with the artistic integrity of our sites, do they alter the code?
Is there a fix?

I don't think they would be after my pagan front page but could someone please check my

gaming page?

If this happens there I don't know the words to say how mad I will be.

My heart goes out to you all who are affected. I don't know what to tell you to do with your rightious wrath. Find some way to kick the shorts off the dastards!

I think it is time for group action. Find a lawyer. There MUST be a class action suit.

Thanks for looking. This is all so upseting. I hate to see it, especially to folks here, who are working so hard and spending so much of their resources to make a better life for themselves and their loved ones. It is so wrong.

Thank you Haiko

I suspected that something like this was happening, I thought I was getting too many targeted hits for too few sales for it not to be happening but I do not have the scumware on my computer to check the sites.

I thought about downloading them but I was worried I might not be capable (I'm THE dummy) of getting rid of them.

I guess my first e-mail is to that Naidir b*st*rd followed straight away by one to priceline.com.

Haiko can I use the image please?
