Ok, WHERE on earth do you live that you could grow a beautiful plant like that? I look out my window, and I still see snow. Our growing season is so short it really limits what we can have

South Texas USA

Bananas are tropical and the winter was quite cold this year. So I had to wrap the bananas with cotton and keep them warm through the cold snaps.

I'm a proud papa to have them so full of life. Banana trees are mostly water and freeze easily. We had a several hard freezes this year...

Well you did a great job nursing it through. I have a Lavander that I've nursed through two Calgary Winters (-40 type weather) and am mighty proud of them -- they just don't grow here usually
