Backcountry.com has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced affiliate manager to join our team of online marketing professionals.

Backcountry.com offers a wide array of the best outdoor gear on the planet including backpacking, camping, skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, kayaking, mountaineering gear and more. We have a very fast paced and fun work environment that needs high energy people who are passionate about outdoor activities and online marketing.

The successful candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker with a proven track record of executing affiliate growth plans.

Responsibilities:
•Set and communicate strategy for the affiliate program and ensure flawless execution.
•Deliver on weekly, monthly and quarterly traffic, sales and efficiency targets.
•Lead and manage a team of 4 affiliate coordinators.
•Identify and implement initiatives that enhance affiliate productivity, exploit new growth opportunities, and optimize ROI.
•Assess the performance of Backcountry.com’s affiliate program strategies through timely qualitative and quantitative analysis.
•Serve as business owner for technology infrastructure projects required to scale affiliate marketing programs. Identify and propose new development projects.

Requirements:
•3+ years of affiliate marketing experience
•Take charge attitude, precise analytical skills, and a desire to exceed goals
•Experience with strategic planning, program management, and developing marketing plans
•Ability to think creatively and conceptualize marketing opportunities
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Works effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
•Strong organizational and communication skills
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
•Four Year College Degree or equivalent experience
