Default Fogdog: Awaiting Funds 1+ Month

Hello,

My account shows Pmt Elig Date 1/1/2005 and it has read "Awaiting Funds" for over a month. Can someone tell me who I can contact to resolve this please?

This is with Fogdog. Don't want to build more pages until I know they pay, of course. I have emailed affiliates@ and gotten no response.

Thanks in advance.

Ooooo .. thanks for that.
Nope, no need to panic.
They pay, but you WILL have to wait.
And wait and wait some more.
Do a search for GSI payments. By the time you are finished reading all the threads ... well, you will still have to wait

Seriously though, they have mentioned a bunch of times that they are working on making payments faster. That said, its still about two months to get paid by them (my experience anyway.) Every once in a while it takes a bit longer.
I have some checks for that date too and I am >>hoping<< to see them around the end of this month.

This has been frustrating me about them for ages!!!
But, they have ALWAYS paid me so I should give them credit for that!

Hey All,

The December payment is currently in pending approval status on our end. We have to wait for our executive team to approve the amount of the check we are sending to BeFree, and unfortunately, this is where we sometimes get stuck. As soon as the amount is approved, we will overnight it to BeFree and they will divide it up to you.

I am sincerely sorry for the delay. I will continue to put pressure on whomever I can to get this check out the door faster. Let me know if there is anything I can do in the meantime.

Mike,

This is a constant program that keeps occurring over and over again. I've personally eliminated GSI links wherever possible as a result.

GSI is the only merchant that I have this reoccuring problem with. This problem needs a permanent solution.

Pressure them to move on over to CJ, then you won't have these monthly "where is my check threads" Wouldn't that be nice? Anybody making money with the program will follow it on over. On top of that you'll have a bunch of new affiliates.

Sweat,

Mike is no longer with GSI. I agree with you that this issue needs a permanent solution; and it is a project that is currently being worked on. I am very sorry to hear that you have removed all of your GSI program links. I would love to speak with you about getting us back up on your sites. Please PM me or contact me using my info below. I am sure that we can reach some sort of common ground.

Trust,

It would be very nice not to have the “Where is my check?” treads every month. Believe me, if I had the final say, this issue would already be taken care of. Unfortunately, we have to go through a lot of extraneous processes when making the decision of “Leave or stay?” and “Which network if we leave?”

Thought all the above GSI stores were a cash & carry business. Lose the advertising mindset where it's only the affiliate commission bill that gets put on the bottom of the AP file. Those retailers can't float their weekly newspaper and radio Ad bills.

New question - check said it was mailed on 3/3 - it's now 3/11 and hasn't come. Is this normal also for befree? Or do they actually get delivered?

Once BeFree puts the checks in the mail, they DO get delivered. Can anyone else out there help flyer24 out? How many days does it normally take for you to have your check in-hand once BeFree gives notice that they have mailed them? Thanks for the input.

I guess if other companies had patience when it came to me paying my bills, I'd have patience also. Heh... ya they're not here. Unless Befree HQ is in China, they should be here by now.

>>>We have to wait for our executive team to approve the amount of the check we are sending to BeFree

well, we've discovered the bottleneck, anyway. would they like to wait for theirs?

That is exactly what I keep preaching aroung here...every day. I am hoping I can get some of these wrinkles in our process ironed out.
