Dear Affiliates,

The newest Russian Legacy datafeed has just been sent to Brian for import.

New Features of the Updated Feed:

- Full descriptions of products (no more trunctuated descriptions where they used to be)

- Larger number of products with descriptions

- Sale prices entered into the feed (so that all products that are on "Specials" now show both the old price and the new (the lower) one)

- RL's own product categories and sub-categories now seen in fields "Custom 1","Custom 2" (at the end of each line)

The feed includes close to 3100 products.

I'll let you all know as soon as I know that it's active at SaS.

Thanks,

Geno

Just asked Brian to hold on the uploading of the feed, as I have a newer one for him - with 100+ new descriptions added (for all glass-holders and bottle holders).

Sending it to him now. Will let you all know as soon as the newest feed is up and available through SaS.

The new RL datafeed is now live!

BTW, no more "weird symbols" in it! We're listening and responding (by actions) to your comments/suggestions/criticisms.

Good luck,

Geno

Do you suggest or recommend any particular software or script to import the datafeed to a MySQL DB and display the formatted data on the website.

Would WebMerge work for you? Have a look here:

Also, we're now starting to work with GoldenCAN to get our datafeed available through them too.

If anyone could suggest ssgupta something else on this, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Geno
