Where Are The August Commissions?

Where are the August commissions. Last payment made was on August 10?

This is the second time this year that payments have been really late without any communication from GSI. Are September payments also going to be late?

When payments were very late earlier this year, I made a big deal about the lack of communication on GSI's part. It's very disconcerting that my complaints have fallen on deaf ears.

I'm still waiting on July and August commissions for Nick, Jr. This is getting really tiresome having to ask where our payments are each month.

I am still waiting on July and August payments from Liz Claiborne, with October now lined up as "payable"!!! I wrote to their AM who assured me that they were expediting payments to BF to ensure that we get paid (that was more than one week ago, and still nothing). I also hate having to keep on enquiring about payment, but if we don't complain they won't do anything about it.

I'm fed up with GSI. No apologies and no explanations. Hect, my AM hasn't even responded.

I guess they just don't care about the sales I generate for them.

July and August payments are in BF's possession and should be sent by them soon. Septembers vouchers are currently being run and will be in our finance departments hands to send out to BF. For any specific questions feel free to contact the Account Manager for the specific site and they will be able to answer your questions.

BeFree is still showing payment status as "Awaiting Funds" even though I was specifically told on Wednesday that funds were being "OVERNIGHTED" and two days ago Mike claims that they are in "BF's possession".

This does not give me much confidence.

I'd like to get a straight answer as to what's going on.

This is the same thing they pulled earlier this year. Everytime I followed up, the date of the payment kept being pushed back and back.

Worse yet, there was NO communication from them about the late commission check unless I emailed and complained.

The folks at GSI seem to think that we're simply mad about the checks being late. I'm much more irrate that they're not being proactive in communicating to us and when we do complain, they don't give us straight answers. (I've raised this very same complaint to them before).

GSI's affiliate program contacts want us to go through their channels and deal with this problem outside of ABW. If GSI actually made the effort to be a good business partner, there wouldn't be any need for a thread like this.

In my opinion, its time to elevate this problem.
I recommend sending a written letter to the GSI's president, letting him know what's going on and what we think about the lack of communication. Here's his name and contact info:

Thanks Sweat! I just noticed that you are only querying August commissions... hell I'm waiting for July and August commissions, not to mention September is due as well. Anyway let's see what happens on Monday - if there is no payment forthcoming I think we should take it to the top.

Yes I see that as well Sweat! Hope we don't have to wait another month for that payment, and then of course there is still September commissions also "awaiting funds"!! According to GSI both July and August payments are now in the hands of BeFree, so why on earth don't they issue payments for both months using one check - surely that would save them some money?

I've never seen an organization do so much not to actually communicate to their business partners.

Exactly the same here Linda (July "submitted", August and September still "awaiting payment")!! Don't know if BF has run out of checks or something but it sure is taking them long to go from "submitted" to paid isn't it? Somehow I think we'll be lucky if we get September commissions before Christmas!! AND to add insult to injury I had a nice reversal today from the merchant. They're sure quick to do that!
