There's two kinds of marketing going on here which caught my eye. My main reason for taking this photograph was for that wonderful vehicle of course. Some thing told me that Land Rover put a lot of thought into their marketing. the photographs were taken at the Bangkok Expo 2005 in November. Check out the gallery for more photographs from Thailand and feel free leave a comment.

This photograph was taken about 6 months before the tsunami at Koh phi phi and shows how beautiful the location really is where they filmed the blockbuster movie "The Beach" (The Tsunami didn't effect this location because it's sheltered by three cliffs with only one route out by boat)

what a beautiful picture! was it expensive to go to Thailand? I'm getting married soon and we're looking at honeymoon options...I think Thailand will be a little bit out of our budget, but still...I can dream haha

Awesome picture!

Hey but Srilanka is beautiful too. I was there for my honeymoon two weeks back. It’s beautiful and Serene there. (Post Tsunami)
And I’m sure it’s less expensive compared to Thailand. Check out the shots.

I have been wanting to go to Thailand for year but my Fiance isn't a big fan of traveling... that and there are a lot of snakes there.

oh no WAY! I am NOT a fan of snakes. Congrats on your honeymoon though Susan! That's exciting! I think Paul and I are now thinking of Mexico...but I'll definitely look up SriLanka

I used to live Bangkok if anyone has any questions. Airfare can be somewhat pricey depending on where you are are coming from. When I moved out there from Atlanta, it was about a grand roundtrip (or 60K frequent flier miles).

Great shots!! I would love to visit there. I guess my concern would be the sharks, like the one that got the guy in the movie, the Beach. Nasty.

I've been fortunate to have traveled to about 25 countries so far in my life, and I just wanted to say that Thailand was by far the best! I cannot wait until I get the opportunity to go back.

The beaches, the people...everything was amazing.

If you go there, you'll definitely have a great time.

Cool pics!

The outfits those girls standing by the truck are wearing remind me of the Jean Paul Gaultier costume worn by Mila Jovovich in The 5th Element - opposite Bruce Willis.

Susan - great shots from your trip to Sri Lanka - is that you and your new hubby in the picture w/ the elephant?

Cheers,
