A quick update for everyone. Chuck Hamrick is no longer with Backcountry.com. He has accepted a position with another company. We're sad to see him go and will miss his enthusiasm for and insight into the affiliate channel. However, this is a great opportunity for him, and we wish him the best of luck. I'm positive that you'll be hearing more from him in the affiliate world.

Having said that, I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce our newest Backcountry.com affiliate team member, Ross Hayes. Many of you have already heard from him on our weekly datafeed distributions and promos. Ross comes to us from our Customer Support team and was a supervisor of our Gearheads.

Ross and I are available to help you with any Backcountry.com affiliate program needs you may have.

I really enjoyed my time at Backcountry and wish them well. What an absolutely unique company with a great market and product mix. Walt and Ross are very capable with the affiliate program and you will see great things from them.

On June 1st I joined AffiliateCrew. AC is an outsourced affiliate management and online marketing agency in Salt Lake City. Programs they manage are Top-Colleges; Little Giant Ladder; ICON Health & Fitness among others soon to be announced. My focus will be on MyFamily which is migrating off of the BeFree platform.

Additionally I manage several OPM programs myself and will continue to offer great opportunities to affiliates. So you may see my ugly mug in more than one place on ABW.

Well, I'm sad to see BC lose Chuck, but this is a good deal all the way around. I've worked with Chuck before his BC days and surely will work with him at AffiliateCrew. As for BC, I've been with them for years and years and will keep doing so.....they are out there on the forefront with their affiliate program and I look forward to working with Ross (congrats by the way).
