help EverythingFurniture and EverythingOfficeFurniture with site re-design

Hello Folks,

As I have posted before we have been planning a store redesign for few months now. We want to offer the best features, categories and easy site navigation to your customers, but the most important part is we want to be able to have those customers visiting, convert into fast sales. As I right this, our EF and EOF web development team has already been working on the redesign. They want to take their time to make sure the new design looks great, easy to use and works properly with all browsers too. We expect the new design to be completed within next 60 days or sooner.

I want to offer you, our affiliate partners, a chance to provide feedback to our design team with features, site navigation and category information you would like to see added or changed for the better. I have been already sending all feeback you've been sending me so if we've talked by emails all requests are already in, but feel free to send me more. We might not be able to implement all of them right away but this is a good opportunity to help you as it can increase your sales. As an affiliate you know which furniture links and banners to add and which furniture products you prefer to showcase to your customers when you design your own EverythingFurniture and EverythingOfficeFurniture targeted pages and you want to see those convert when they click-through.

I am sure you have already many times, but take another look at our stores www.everythingfurniture.com and www.everythingofficefurniture.com when you get a chance and see what is missing or should be changed, BUT, please look at it from a customers' point of view too, I know it's hard as an affiliate, but the best way is to actually sit back as if you were actually going to buy some furniture items.

You can reply with general design info here if you like, but If you can, I would prefer you email me at jorge[at]jrami.com with all your suggestions.

Thank you in advance.

keep them coming

Just a sneek peak at one of EF domains linked from main site for customers, www.everythingfurniture.net

It's mainly for customers, but lots of videos to be added soon and more info for them such as Knowledgebase, Download, Troubleshooter and more.

Hi Jorge,

Did not know that you were in ABW till I saw it in your affiliate email today regarding your up coming new design.

I think its hard to be doing your job, having to please everybody, the customers, affiliates and merchants.

As regard to the new design ( am not a web designer ), I think like most web site, it has to have that magnetic force to retain the customers. The appeal, clear images and of course good pep talks about the products. The important part is to let them stay as long as possible for those who comes in with the intention in their mind to look for furniture items.

As an affiliate point of view, we would like to see that the site can convince the customers to bring out their credit card once they enter your site from ours.

It would be magical to see the new site be able to make every party happy!!

Thanks

Richard

Richard, thanks,

> Did not know that you were in ABW till I saw it in your affiliate email today

You bet, been here since Oct 03', ABW and Haiko still the best. I've learned allot from affiliates, merchants and many on ABW, so every chance I get I put abw links on my emails so newbies, pros and everyone can still see the benefits that ABW can bring interact and learn more here too.

> I think its hard to be doing your job, having to please everybody, the customers, affiliates and merchants.

You can say that again, but it's great and specially with great participation and feedback from partners just as you have done here, that's where customers, affiliates and merchant win.

> As an affiliate point of view, we would like to see that the site can convince the customers to bring out their credit card once they enter your site from ours.

That's the trick, "bring out their credit card". The faster they buy the faster than can go back to work, before their boss sees them shopping instead of working at their office, desk or cubicle.

From afiliate feeback:

8. The blue color overall is lackluster and cheapens the look of the furniture...

Web Team Says: What color palette should we use?

Web Team Says: "If the community has more ideas on the site design, usability, colors, anything, just let us know. We love to get feedback from our affiliates"

Take advantage folks, let them have it, just reply or send me suggestions to: jorge[at]jrami.com

What about some background and border colors matching the furniture;
pine, cherry or maple or mix around. I maybe wrong, just have to provide some input.

Thanks

How about a 3-D look. Site outlay looks like a house layout and each type of furniture position in its location such as bedroom, living room or kitchen.

Thanks

Took a peek around the sites and other than the color of the site being changed to a nice shade of lavender lol I know...I know not everybody shares my color tastes. lol Was just kidding. Sites look pretty nice and not sure how you could improve them. I did spot a few products I hadn't been aware they had so will be adding them to my site. Sorry couldn't be more helpful...but at least you should feel good that I think the site looks nice the way it is

purplebear,

> Sites look pretty nice and not sure how you could improve them

Thank you! They will be glad to hear that.

It does mean allot and I thank you that you took the time to look around the sites. All suggestions are valid in my eyes, so if you think of anything we still have about 60 days before finish more or less, so even lavender will be suggested.

You're quite welcome. I always take the time when any of my nice affiliate managers ask for any sort of feedback. Just my way of trying to help them when they've gone out of their way to help me
lol about the lavender suggestion....see if I get my way from all these suggestions I make ...the world will become lavender lol
