The 2006 GoodBulbs selling season has officially begun!

I've got 1000s of tulips here now, just waiting to be ordered! And, it's fall--tulip planting time--so time to start promoting! If you've been ignoring your pages, this is the time to dust 'em off, cuz the Bulb Planting Season is only 3 months long.

BTW there's about 4x more pre-ordered ones this year than last year. So I'm highly optimistic for this season!

How does pre-order work in the affiliate set up? Does it show as a sale in SAS when ordered or shipped?

It shows up when ordered. They order, they're charged, and the sale appears in SAS.

It's all nice and automated, and I've got no intentions of de-automating it.

I've had more anticipation than Heinz Ketchup ever dreamed of, waiting for those bulbs to get here so I could pick 'em up, and move to Immediate Shipping! The pre-orders have been great (considering that it's my 2nd season), but there's usually a lot more who will order in-season for the immediate shipment.

I am super enthusiastic! More than I've been about anything in ages. It's not only a new venture (which is exciting in itself), but so far it's progressing as expected, and probably will exceed expectations too, by the end of the season!

Look out Br*ck's...that little dotlet in your rearview is comin' up fast!!

Plus, I do like the product. I can *sell* lots of kinds of stuff, but for the merchant-side I wanted to actually handle things I LIKE. And I like flowers. Ones that will grow, not cut ones. And the thought of "Good" bulbs growing all over the US thrills me!

I could enthuse for ages, but I'll force myself to stop for now...

I made that comment about ignored pages because some people still have lilies up (all lily links are dead), and some tulip varieties that aren't coming back, and have missed the two new varieties of tulips. So there are people who really need to update! Or they'll waste their traffic by sending it to nonexistant items. With such a short selling season, those people really are in danger of missing the boat.

As for a new feed, I am intending to add one new item in a few days, but that should be it for this season. Well, maybe two, depending on whether I can get a particular accessory I'm angling for...
