I have herd some good comments about AF but I'm disappointed to find they only seem to offer banners for links. I went through about 10 merchants in hope to find at least one to join but all the links are useless for my sites which use text links mainly besides a logo of 88x31 for each merchant I add & not banners. All the merchants I went through offered only a very limited selection even as far as banners go, most were just repeated banners in 3 - 4 various sizes.

I do see a thread on datafeeds here on the board so maybe I can find a datafeed to use at least. I hope there would be some improvements though in offering text links in the future. I'm very surprised about this and was looking forward to signing up with a number of merchants and getting some sales happening.

They have the best text links you can find in a network: YOUR OWN.
You can link anywhere you want, any page of a merchant site.
Go to "My Merchants"
"Programme Details"
You'll find a folder called "Default"
Inside you have:
1-The Generic HTML Code
2-The Banners

With the generic code you can build all the text links you want:
http://scripts.affiliatefuture.com/A...tracking=&url=

Just add the full merchant url where you want your link to redirect.
You can even add your own tracking (SID)

when you click on banners folder (all folders) the first link is a direct link the 2nd is text links and all others are banners etc

I'm not able to find this, For example I selected a merchant called "HennaNation" and I only see a link to "View All Creatives", so I select this and just get a page full of banners?

the top http//scripts.afuture......&url= is your deeplinking code. Find the froduct you want copy the url destination and add it to your &url=

the first one is link code the second is text link and the rest are banners

ok, I wasn't trying to do a product link, I think I can work that out but I just wanted a promotional text link that the merchant has already setup as I thought that is was you meant when you said "the first one is link code the second is text link and the rest are banners".

so what do you mean by " the second is text link " ?

I would think that was meant to be "the second is text link 's " and I'm looking for this text link area in the merchants links page but as I said I can only find banners.

I dont know what henna sell, but assume they sell vitamins and your paragraph is talking about vitamin c as follows; During the winter months when your immune system is low taking a dosage of ( over here insert the Generic HTML Code which would be <a href='http://scripts.affiliatefuture.com.....&url=(over here deep link in to the page with vitamin c)'>PUT YOUR TEXT HERE (replace with the word vitamin c) will help......
And your site will then read ....taking a dossage of vitamin c will help... and the vitamin c will be hyperlinked to henna.

ok thanks for trying to help and that's appreciated, i understand how to make my own link. What I'm looking for is merchants that already have text links made up so I can just copy & paste. I know I should write my own links but I don't really have that sort of time for each merchant and need to have them already have this setup like other networks offer.

If anyone does know of any merchants that do offer promotional text links, coupons etc on this network then please let me know.

Let me know what you want your text links to say and I'll have them created for you in the system for you to pull. Our merchants do have the ability to set up text links; however since affiliates want their links to say different things some just opt to have them create their own.

So just let me know what you want them to say and I'll set them up for you!

ok thanks for the offer, I will try to create some of my own later this week then & it is just as easy for me to make them as to send you the details... I just thought there may have been some merchants already with them.
