First, the entire Freelance Work Exchange team wishes to thank each and every one of our partners for an exceptional 2006! You worked incredibly hard promoting us in 2006 and we continued to improve our partner program, made 2 major upgrades to the site and consistently improved our conversion rate. I said it numerous times before but it’s worth repeating-this is a classic example of great teamwork. We truly believe we have a win-win opportunity and, based on the performance in 2006, you whole-heartedly agree. You are all super in my book!

So, just how good was 2006 for Freelance Work Exchange? It was great! Were you expecting to hear more? Good, because I will show just how great 2006 was.
The Freelance Work Exchange affiliate program started in 2000 and has been a very successful program, growing year by year. Everyone turned up the heat in 2006 and we smashed records month after month.


In 2006:

• Freelance Work Exchange paid out over $230,000 to their partners
• Our partner program was 212% better than 2005 (and 2005 was the best year, until now)
• Our program on SAS went from a few leads per month to a full 20% of the total leads we have on CJ
• Two of the top 3 performers in our Going for Gold promotion are on SAS
• We paid out more in commissions, more bonuses and our top partner will enjoy a trip to Gold Coast, Australia in June

While 2006 was an awesome year for those who worked with Freelance Work Exchange, we’re still not satisfied. Sure, this program more than doubled in 1 year but we believe our service has a great deal more potential and that we only scratched the surface so far. We believe our partners can earn even more in 2007 and we’re dedicated to providing the tools and support our partners need. We believe this partner program will be the best opportunity in this vertical as we continue to develop a world-class service.

New tools are already in the works and we will have some information on them soon. Right now we’re working on new landing pages so you can drive targeted traffic by the type of freelance opportunity. A new customizable job feed banner is close to completion, we’re just working out a couple minor details now. We’re improving our design and sales copy to drive conversions even higher.

Also in the works are some fantastic additional revenue streams for our partners, including an entirely new way to cash in on the explosive freelance and work-at-home markets. You would be amazed at who is getting involved in this area! We will provide the tools and support you need to make it big.

That's happening right now...we are currently optimizing and testing the new landing page to maximize conversions. Once we are happy with that, we will roll out the niche versions. Just let us know what versions you need.

I suspect their last visit was in October. We did have an issue with a hacker using the cPanel exploit but haven't had any problems since we patched it and tightened up security. I assure you the site is safe now. If you experience any problems, please let me know. Thanks for the notice.

As Greg has mentioned, we did have a problem with a bunch of Russian hackers who thought it would be great to insert some malicious code on our homepage without us knowing.

However, the great thing is now, the FWE index page, is no longer a static HTML file. Any attempts to modify the home page will be futile, as it is all server side generated.

Oh and P.S. keep up the great work affiliates!!!
