OK new list of nominees pulled from the ABW database - criteria were as follows:
  1. Join date after Jan 1 2006
  2. 100 posts or more
Voting will end on Tuesday Feb 22th at 2 PM EST

Note: You can only vote for one person, it is not like the other polls.

Oh great, here we go with the "what about me recount" whining!!

OK, the way I figure it, with all the choices we now have - it is going to dilute votes for Matt. At this point he has undoubtedly had all of his HTQ chronies and family members log on and cast their votes already. What appears to be his early (superficial) lead will dwindle into nada. He will see my rosie red patoot as I pass him when my core constituent base becomes aware of the recount and make their voices heard.

That said, I think I'm probably a shoe-in on this one. I'm heading to the store to get my tuxedo so I'll be looking good when I hit the acceptance stand!!

Thank you boys and girls. Though I have only seen my role here as a humble student and participant, I guess I have to accept that I have been a wonderful asset to this forum. In return, I assure you that for my part, your continued support will not go unnoticed or without reciprocation. To think that I could even be "mentioned" for such an honor leaves me speechless. Thank you

Oh, I forgot,,, I wanted to ask for some feedback about something else:

I have a vacation home and boat on the marina here in Florida. Recently, smeone asked if I ever GIVE AWAY free use of the place, or have folks as my guest for fishing, ocean boating, dining and cocktails. Golly gee, I never really thought about it until now (cough)....I don't know what to tell them. On second thought, maybe I should ask for input on this in another thread, so I won't mention it here.

Good luck to everyone on the list! I will remember you in my acceptance speech.

Me

So, why is it still listed as a voting option?

Probably because regardless of whether they are banned or not, they still meet all criteria:

Join date after Jan 1 2006
100 posts or more

Correct!

Plus, I wanted to be childish and take the opportunity to restate that his forum is gone and he's IP banned.

... hey, at least I can admit it

Let's all vote for DFF. They won't be able to come here to accept their award!
Sorry, that is just a funny thought.

I was gonna be the first poster on this thread - and I was going to say something childish about DDF!!

But I didn't want to look childish!

We need some childish guidlines 'cause I missed a chance to act childish

You know it Haiko.

I'm just about to bring out James Carville AND Karl Rove...imagine them working together!

We are going to expose Alan's misuse of ABW funds and acceptance of PAC money. It's a shame.

I spoke to DataFeedFile a few months back about integrating AffiliateBOT's datafeed. Is there something I should know? Out of curiosity, why are they banned?

Biz, that should be something you ask in a thread. This thread is for voting, but by all means start a thread and get the input on DFF. That would be a very wise move.

Hah!! I note that your percentage has been getting diluted since that post Matt. Sometimes, (especially in your case) it is better to be the faceless presence!!

Super post Matt - I may switch my vote.

BTW, Zach is waiting to hear from you. he's there for another hour so call him.

Life can be difficult Rex, but as you know, we are sometimes called upon to make the tough decisions. Also the RIGHT decision. Matt has never lived in S. Cal, Humph!! (I have!! Granada Hills, a poor pilgrim area)

Matt did not sing in L.V. - Hah! I did and I sang my blue eyed soul out for you!

Matt did not join us in your room for a get together in L.V. Chug-a-rumph!! But I did!! Where was mister "oh boy I have a camera" that evening? Huh?

Matt did not spontaneously hug you when he met you... I Did!!!

I can tell you things about Matt that would turn your hair Auburn like, but my sense of fair play precludes me from doing that. Sure, he posts great pics of himself groveling for votes, but who is he really?

Doing what is in your heart is sometimes difficult Rex, but deeeeeep down inside, in a place that no one knows but YOU, your conscience cries out like a lonely voice on the stormy sea.... "Alan - ALAN - ALAN

I'm here for ya - all ya have to do is click and make your voice heard!!

Haiko, Matt, Mark and Alan, I'm really sorry that I opened my big mouth/keyboard and killed your last poll.

As for any votes that DFF may get, ABW could sell the "vote value" to the highest bidder.
