Thanks Haiko for putting this together it was a blast. It is always good to see old friends and make some new ones also.

I had a lot of fun at the expo itself, There was a lot of ppc companies there and I had lots of fun messing with their heads, telling them I have no reason to do ppc I already get too much traffic. The best was when I went to the Google booth and asked them what they do and why would I put them on my site

The guy that heard him say that had a look on his face that was priceless... and me that has no poker face at all had to walk away cause I started laughing..... (quietly!)

I wish I had more time to spend with the folks that were there only for yesterday, I didn't realize they were there just for the day!!!

This was a last minute decision to come here and I so glad I did... even though it is cold and rainy... The folks I spent the day with totally made it worth it...

Going from a suite at the Mirage to the Hotel Carter is.... interesting.... lol...

Good thing I am not spending much time in the hotel!!!!!! No internet, might as well be out walking...

walking and talking
soon I had many new ideas forming.

While I was talking
my phone must have rung
never knew, never heard it
and now I could sob
for I missed a meeting with Bob.

Was hungry for lunch
hadn't even had brunch
walked over to Tads (not tonics)
to meet Ojmoo
oh yes and Liquidate too.

an amazing man.
Is he young?

For sure he's top rate.

Oranges too,
(once called ojmoo)
was also quite nice
drove me home that night
even took the gcp twice.

Back to the Expo
we gave out a shout
for we had found Mike Nunez walking about!
then quite the surprise
as Loxly walked by!

In swooped the Falcon
and silenced the google
now where was azoogle
and as word quickly spread
all other ppc reps fled.

Time for some more drinks
a little before dinner
sitting and talking
and laughing a lot
some of us just couldn't seem to stop.

Off to dinner we went
And there was Haiko!
the lovely Michelle
Dapyx and Bob too.

Mike lent me his ear,
he's really a dear
next time that we meet
I shall buy him a beer.

It was a thrill and an honor
so glad that I went
Learned the story of moo

Well I do wish I could've been there. Getting to and from NYC is a pain for me when it's at night. Just couldn't see my way clear to paying NYC hotel prices so I didn't have to sleep on the floor of the waiting terminal at Penn Station.

Mellie, I nominate you for Poet Laureate of ABW. Who wants to second the motion?

Deb, I didn't know you had such beautiful eyes. You have to pose for more closeups so you can show off those baby blues.

It's great to see photos of all of you even if I don't know who you are in the photos coz Haiko didn't tag them all. <ahem> But thanks Haiko for posting those photos. They're awesome for indoor shots.

Rhea, I left Saturday at 3, so missed the weather thankfully. Heard it was getting nasty today, and my daughter said it was nasty upstate too.

Haiko, thank you for posting the pics so everyone didn't have to wait until I got home. I feel like I hogged the camera having my pic taken with 3 handsome men Rhea, I was in a very good mood so maybe that's why my eyes caught your attention

mellie, what a wonderful poem!!!! I wish I had been able to spend more time talking to you... next trip I will!

liquidate, how did you manage to avoid the camera at dinner? Can I post one of the other pics I took?

The week was great, I got to do a bunch of stuff that I have been wanting to do for a while, I love New York City almost as much as I love Las Vegas, there are some special memories there from the 2 years I lived there. I'll be posting some pics taken through the week... I came home with almost 5 gigs of new images, it will take me the next year to get them post processed, posted and loaded to various places... (**cough** Imagekind... **cough** )

I loved meeting Haiko finally... and being back in the city that captured my heart years ago.

Deb, I'm glad you got out of the city before the storm hit. I'm sure it was much worse there than here but it was no fun here either. This morning the sun came out (while it was still raining, mind you) so all is forgiven. That had better be the last of it because I'm sick of winter. I want Spring weather and I want it NOW!
