Updates
Greetings all,
Just a few updates to pass along for our programs... - Skis.com - In the past week we have launched a completely new site design and layout that our developers have worked long and hard on. We're still working out the kinks, but we are very excited about this new format. We believe that it will give our shoppers more accessibility to the content we've been adding to our site, giving them the best information possible to make a purchase. Even though we're going offseason for skiing and snowboarding right now, I bring it up because our other programs (SummitOnline.com, SnowboardFusion.com, and The DailySteal.com) will be getting this revamped site layout over the next few weeks. Come next season it should really boost your sales on winter gear. In the meantime, it will definitely help with spring and summer sports gear as well. - SummitOnline.com - As mentioned above, a new site layout is coming very soon. In terms of product, we have already received and are shipping brand new inline skating gear for 2009. We are still getting more product and it is going up as quickly as possible. I strongly encourage any of you who are part of our SummitOnline program to push inline skates. The vast majority will ship with Free Shipping (over $99). Also, kayaking is gaining in popularity and we have expanded our offerings in this category this year. For any of you with an outdoor site or site dedicated to water sports, this is a good category to promote. Something else NEW! Speaking of inline skating and kayaking, I wanted to announce our plans to add two additional sites to our AvantLink program. InlineSkates.net and WaterOutfitters.com are two additional programs that we are planning to launch with AvantLink in the coming month or so. Unlike SummitOnline.com, InlineSkates.net and WaterOutfitters.com will offer additional product offerings for their respective category. Additionally, the content and supplementing purchasing material will be specific to the sport of the site. That's really all for now, but keep tuned for updates.
