While it appears that there is no pressing threat in TN to enact the affiliate tax THIS year, the Governor's State of the State address Monday was alarming and certainly set the tone for all kinds of new taxes in the near future.

Thankfully the Republican controlled House and Senate don't look like they are budging anytime soon, but I have learned that anything is possible especially when legislators' pet projects get put on the back burner.

I compiled two CSV files and I am posting them here for future reference. They have each Representative and Senator's email, phone, office #, and party.

I will update these lists after the elections this year as well.

It never hurts to contact them now, make them aware of the tax and make it an election issue on some level.

Find out their position on the issue and offer to help those who are adamantly against it!
