Kevin,

According to http://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/Bill...lNumber=SB1741

It was "Taken Off Notice For Cal. in s/c Budget of FW&M of Finance, Ways & Means Committee" in the House. This pretty much means it it going nowhere in the House and therefore nowhere in the Senate.

With the GOP in control here of both the Senate and House, we are safe for now.

My pleasure Kevin.

My suggestion is not to consider it a dead issue at all though.

It is not a dead issue in any state that has:

Passed such a bill: RI, NY, NC...etc.
Considered such a bill: CA, TN, HI...etc.
Not had such a bill come up at all

Basically it is an issue everywhere!

I agree. This bump was actually a way of keeping the tax issue on the front page of ABW. The Carolina affiliates are still doing it, but I don't want affiliates to fall into the old trap of "it's a North Carolina issue" like many did last year with NY.

So bump.

Bump.

Bump.
