Had someone use one of my links to make a purchase at Webhosting Buzz, the sale did not track.

Hey Matt - that sale was for a small reseller plan. I did clear cookies from my PC before I clicked beachcom's link. Then I verified that new cookies were dropped on my machine before I proceeded with the order. I also let Joey know right after I was set up - so we could both have the advantage of a test sale.
Shouldn't make a difference but I did use the coupon code you posted in the other thread. Codes should not overwrite cookies.

Joey, was any explanation given as to why the sale didn't track in the first place? While I'm glad you got paid on this order, it always concerns me when a KNOWN order doesn't track. The odds just don't add up that it's the only order that didn't track.

Yeah, unfortunately my cookie was overwritten when the coupon code was used.
According to Matt they are "switching to a better IP based tracking method next week that should prevent this".

Great attitude, Matt. I'm liking what I see thus far - open communication and a willingness to actively address problems.
BTW - That reseller plan is working just fine and at your price point is a good value. I'll be promoting that when we consult with webmasters/affiliate marketers.

On top of that, they had to manually credit the coupon code, it showed at check out, but when using PayPal came back full price.
