Andy, can the formula you gave us for linking to the 50 SKU's without going through BeFree linking - in otherwords, the method used on the creatives - be used to link to other products on the TD site? Or do those links only work because they've been input into the BF system at some point?

How about

<*a href="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=26399296&siteid=INSERTID&bfpid=INSERTPARTNO&bfmtype=computer_equipm">

replace the INSERTID and INSERTPARTNO with your ID and the TD part#

Oh yeah, and remove the *

Good Luck!
Akoss

<*IMG SRC="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/serve?bfmid=26399296&siteid=INSERTID&bfpid=INSERTPARTNO&bfmtype=computer_equipm" BORDER="0" WIDTH="1" HEIGHT="1" NOSAVE >

Is anything wrong with this link? Of course minus the star
<*a href="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=26399296&siteid=xxxxxxxx&bfpid=H24-1794 P&bfmtype=computer_equipm">HP
DVD100i DVD+RW Drive (DVD+RW / CDR / CDRW)-Recertified 199.99</a>
If clicked on it takes me to the TD page that says
We're sorry. We currently do not offer item # H24-1794. Yet if you do a search for H24-1794 on the TDD page, it will bring you to the product page to add to your cart. This is the first item in the top 50 and I am noticing others.
Thanks

For what it's worth, the links work fine in IE but when I use Netscape 4.7 Browser not all do!
Hope not too many people are using that version

Cazzie,

Your link doesn't work in Netscape because it has a space in the URL (in the middle of the product ID).

Fortunately, IE handles that OK.

akoss' copy of the link has the fix in it -- if you replace the space with a %20 it should work in Netscape (and still in IE).

Andy, if your productID's typically have spaces in them, we need to take a quick look and make sure that isn't causing problems in the reporting.net tag generator. I'll point this out to the support team who will follow up with you.

Just wanted to reiterate to the *posters that All code can be pasted in the new ABW forums.

Just paste the code and check off ...

"Disable HTML: Do you want to disable HTML from your post so that your post appears exactly as you have typed it?"

... under the first post a reply button in the options section.

Scott, love the teamwork...

Thank you, i'm almost sure we generate the right code with the %20 already in, but we can verify tomm.

I believe caz was using the formula by hard coding? Right Caz?

If you output with BF it generates the %20 already in there.

BTW: for the record, i don't know of any other BF merchant that has the level of affiliate/merchant support we have been getting from BF in the last few weeks.... AWESOME !!
