Well I've had Systemax displays and "configure-it-your-way" displays up since the first day of the contest. TD has come a long way since I won a Compaq PDA in a monthly contest. I still spend 20 hours a month rotating new TD links trying to find a way to get back to my old average 1/60 conversion ratio. It's a mystery to me now as my 35 years of experience selling computers seems to have excaped me.

I yanked, where ever I found them, all PcMall and Dell links and send TD 5 times the combined traffic sent to Computer Geeks -Computers-4Sure -Buy.com -IBM -Surplus computers and Laptopsforless who never get individual product links. Only alternate computer merchant I seem to get sales for is Overstock.

A search for Systemax on Google shows who the likely affiliate winners are the ones getting raises ...rather then pay cuts. eBay -Dealtime -Nextag -MSN -Shopping.com -Celibex -Pricegrabber -CompUSA -Amazon and the house cookie sister site listings.

Would be nice if TD sent me the EcomCity clickstream data mining stats to see what I can do to get back to last Junes $1134.00 commission check. Within EC's computer landing pages TD has never looked so prominent.

I'm a friggin dinasour in 2 industries. Worked for IBM and Wang Labs in sales starting in 1978. Then put up my first web sites in 1995. TD's management was in diapers when I started in their industry. It's the same old screw the VAR commission potential mentality this industry has had since the early 80's. They all have the mindset of Mike Dell cutting out the middlemen.
